
Samia Dar (she/her)
Samia is a provisional psychologist with a background in Social Science (undergraduate) and Applied Psychology major in Clinical Psychology (postgraduate). She moved to Australia in 2018 and started freelancing as a content writer and psychological virtual assistant. Samia has worked with people from diverse background and assisted them with their academic and non-academic projects. She has also completed her Early
Childhood Education and Care studies and loves working with children of various ages and needs.
Samia has years of experience in working with children with special needs, autistic and/or ADHD. Samia provides compassionate and evidence-based mental health support to individuals in need. With a strong foundation in psychological theory and practical experience gained through supervised practice, she is committed to helping clients navigate their mental health challenges and work towards positive growth and well-being.
Samia is currently registered as a provisional psychologist while completing AHPRA's required hours of practice in Australia for clinical psychology. Samia strives to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, and she is passionate about empowering individuals to make meaningful changes in their lives.
By utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and techniques, Samia can provide accurate and insightful evaluations that guide the therapeutic process and support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
